Thought behind our signature studios

It is important to feel the comfort and feel at ease in order to indulge in an experience, and that lead to a brainstorming session about how our studio should look. The interiors of Zorba are designed according to the 5 sense rule. We believe that a truly spiritual experience cannot exclusively be perceived through any one sense, but rather is perceived collectively through sight, smell, sound, touch and taste. With happiness as the theme, we build environments inducing natural elements, creating spaces to rejuvenate the body and the mind.

Sight

SIGHT

Principles of Colour Theory and Aromatherapy have lent themselves to make the waiting area inviting and cozy, and the practice space uses cool hues to complement introspective activities. The lights in the shades of blue and green are soothing to the eye and reverberate calmness.

Sound

SOUND

Soft music playing in the background stimulates the sense of hearing and uplifts the mood of the trainers and trainees in the studio and influences their heart rate and walking pace around the studio.

Smell

SMELL

Studio interiors are scented with a mild yet pleasant fragrance throughout. This tingles the sense of smell. Mild fragrances help calm your senses and have a relaxing effect on your mind and body.

Touch

TOUCH

The sensation of touch is invoked by a grass mat leading to the studio. Its prickly yet soothing texture stimulates blood flow to your feet.

Kinesthesis

KINESTHESIS

Finally, the 5th sense is kindled by kinesthesis. The Asanas and postures practiced during our routine stimulate flow of blood to all parts of the body, helping with gaining strength and flexibility.

Colours form the essence and joy of life. They directly reflect a person’s mood. At Zorba, we use colour coded jerseys to make the routine more fun and happening! There’s nothing happier than a colourful atmosphere.

What are the colours and what do they denote?

Zorba’s fascination with colours is associated with our mission to provide our customers with an exclusive Zorbian experience by keeping them happy and satisfied. However, there’s also a scientific reason behind it. Our body is divided into 7 energy centers, each of which can be activated and aligned with the help of Yoga. Each energy center is signified as a Chakra and is denoted by a specific colour and help heal your body.

Color Code

Zorba conducts classes 6 days a week and have T-shirts in the colours of white, orange, green, yellow, red and blue, specifically assigned for each day. We start with working on your root chakra and progress further, finally reaching the crown chakra. Thus, we make happiness colourful!
